# Mernyx > Mernyx is a native Mermaid editor for macOS. Move a node on the canvas and the real Mermaid source comes with it — no WebView, no Electron. Mernyx is a native macOS app: a source editor, a real vector canvas and a properties inspector are three views of one document. It renders 34 diagram families, exports PNG, SVG and PDF, and needs macOS 14.0 or later. The cheat sheet below carries the Mermaid source for all 34 diagram families Mernyx renders — each rule beside the diagram it produces. Every picture on it is drawn by Mernyx’s own renderer, not by Mermaid.js in a browser. ## Mermaid cheat sheet - [Cheat sheet](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/index.md): The map of all 34 diagram families, and the four rules that apply to every diagram. - [Flowchart](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/flowchart/index.md): Boxes, arrows and branches — the diagram most people mean by Mermaid. - [Sequence diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/sequence/index.md): Messages between participants, in order, over time. - [Class diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/class/index.md): Types, their members, and how they relate. - [State diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/state/index.md): States, the moves between them, and the branching in between. - [ER diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/er/index.md): Entities, their columns, and the cardinalities between them. - [Mindmap](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/mindmap/index.md): A text outline that becomes a tree, with no arrows to write. - [Architecture diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/architecture/index.md): Services, the groups they live in, and the edges between them. - [Requirement diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/requirement/index.md): Requirements, their kinds, and what satisfies them. - [Block diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/block/index.md): A wall of blocks, read from left to right. - [Swimlane diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/swimlane/index.md): A process split into lanes, one per owner. - [Agent flow diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/agentflow/index.md): An agent’s steps, and what kind of step each one is. - [Use case diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/usecase/index.md): Actors, use cases, and the system that owns them. - [Pie chart](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/pie/index.md): A labelled list of values, drawn as slices. - [Gantt chart](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/gantt/index.md): Tasks, sections and dates, laid out along a time axis. - [Quadrant chart](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/quadrant/index.md): Two axes, four quadrants, and the points plotted on them. - [Radar chart](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/radar/index.md): One axis per measure, one curve per thing being compared. - [Treemap](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/treemap/index.md): Nested rectangles whose area is the value. - [Kanban diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/kanban/index.md): Columns of cards, one column per stage of the work. - [Packet diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/packet/index.md): The bits of a network packet, field by field. - [Info diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/info/index.md): Mermaid’s version banner — Mernyx recognises it, but does not draw it yet. - [Timeline](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/timeline/index.md): Periods down one side, events beside them. - [Sankey diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/sankey/index.md): A flow, written as three fields per line. - [User journey](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/journey/index.md): A path with a score on every step. - [Venn diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/venn/index.md): Overlapping sets, and the regions they share. - [C4 diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/c4/index.md): The architecture views, at three levels of zoom. - [Cynefin diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/cynefin/index.md): Five domains, each with its own way of deciding. - [Git graph](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/gitgraph/index.md): A branch history, drawn. - [XY chart](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/xychart/index.md): A line or a bar chart on two axes. - [Wardley map](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/wardley/index.md): Where a component sits on visibility and on evolution. - [Railroad diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/railroad/index.md): A grammar rule, drawn. - [ZenUML diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/zenuml/index.md): A sequence diagram, written for a method call. - [Event modeling diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/eventmodeling/index.md): How the information changed, in time. - [Ishikawa diagram](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/ishikawa/index.md): One problem, and the causes under it. - [Tree view](https://mernyx.com/cheat-sheet/treeview/index.md): A directory listing, drawn. ## Product - [Overview](https://mernyx.com/index.md): What Mernyx is, how the canvas and the source stay in sync, and what the window does. - [Capability matrix](https://mernyx.com/capabilities/index.md): What the canvas can edit, family by family: structure, styles, labels and numbers, for all 34 families. - [Pricing](https://mernyx.com/pricing/index.md): Free to view and edit source forever;
